Key Performance Indicators

Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are a province-wide accountability tool established by the Ontario government in 1998 to measure and reward College performance in meeting specific goals and objectives.

The Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities in collaboration with the Ontario Colleges identified five measurements to be used as the Key Performance Indicators:

  • Graduate Employment
  • Graduate Satisfaction
  • Employer Satisfaction
  • Student Satisfaction
  • Graduation Rate

Centennial College uses the results of the Key Performance Indicators to determine our success in meeting the needs of our students and the marketplace.

The Government uses the KPI results to reward colleges for their achievements, and in the planning and policy-making for the college system.
