Note: Presently the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities pays 80% of the tuition for the apprenticeship program.  Courses cost between $50 and $100 depending on the course payable prior to the start of each course.

Before Applying
To be eligible: 
  • An OSSD grade 12 diploma, or equivalent
  • To participate in government funded training you must be legally entitled to work on Canada
  • Must be employed by an organizations that support individuals who have intellectual disabilities and hires Developmental Services Worker Apprentices

Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities

To determine your eligibility for this program through The Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities please call: 1-800-387-5656. A representative will help you find the nearest government office to help you register and obtain a Training Agreement Number.

Submission Form

Once you have registered as a Developmental Service Worker Apprentice and have received a Training Agreement Number, complete the submission form.

Once we receive this form, we will communicate back to you the information you require to begin your apprenticeship program.
