About Centennial


Established as Toronto's first public college in 1966, Centennial College offers programs in business, communications, community and health studies, science and engineering technology, general arts, hospitality and transportation.

Plant Operations provides campus facilities-related services to the Centennial community in support of the college’s programs and its mission. The range of services performed by the department includes building operation and maintenance, landscaping, snow removal, custodial services and environmental sustainability.

One of the primary functions of the department is to oversee heating, cooling and power to all campuses. The department is also responsible for maintaining the watermain-fire hydrant loop, all fire systems, sanitary and storm sewers, and the Building Automated system.
