About Centennial
Established as Toronto's first public college in 1966, Centennial College offers programs in business, communications, community and health studies, science and engineering technology, general arts, hospitality and transportation.

Effective May 1, 2008 your Centennial College photo identification card is no longer considered to be valid photo identification by the ministry for any OSAP related purpose.

Before you can pick up your OSAP loan/grant certificates and/or grant cheques from Student Financial Services at Centennial College, you must present two forms of valid identification.  Effective May 1, 2008, only the following forms of identification will be acceptable:

  • your valid Social Insurance Card (a photocopy is acceptable) or an official Government of Canada document that indicates the student’s Social Insurance Number (ie, a Canada Revenue Agency Notice of Assessment, a Canada Pension Plan Statement of Contributions or a Confirmation of Social Insurance Number from Service Canada). Please note: T-4, T-4A and T-5 documents are NOT acceptable.

  • one valid photo ID issued in Canada by the federal, provincial or a territorial government (a legible photocopy is acceptable) - examples of acceptable photo identification are: a valid driver’s license, passport, provincial health card with photo, permanent residency, citizenship card, firearms license aboriginal identification card, age of majority card, military identification card and LCBO’s BYOD card.
  •  Please note: Student ID cards are NOT acceptable.

OSAP, CSLP and the NSLSC have collectively agreed on revised identification requirements for students picking up and negotiating loan/grant certificates and/or grant cheques.
