Centennial College is honoured to participate in this initiative, developed by Honorary Colonel Kevin Reed and former Chief of Defence Staff and Retired General Rick Hiller, which offers free tuition to dependent children of a Canadian Forces member who died while serving in an active mission since 2002.

Project Hero eligible recipients must be:

• A dependent child of a Canadian Forces member who died while serving in an active mission since 2002
• A Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident
• Under the age of 26 at the start of fulltime classes
• Registered in a full-time Ministry approved post-secondary college program
• The first term of eligibility cannot be prior to September 2009
