Admission Requirements

Centennial College expects students applying for admission to certificate or diploma programs to present at minimum an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent or be 19 years of age or older. Possession of minimum admission requirements does not guarantee admission to the program.

Academic Requirements
  • Compulsory English 12 or skills assessment, or equivalent
Non-academic Requirements
  • Applicants are required to complete a questionnaire, provide references and attend a program admission session as part of the admissions process
  • English proficiency will be considered in the admissions process
Field Placement Requirements
  • Some field placement agencies may require a criminal reference check prior to student placement. Certain criminal convictions may disallow placement in these agencies and program completion may not be possible
  • Clear medical report

Monetary Requirements
  • Costs for this program are approximately $2,200 each semester
  • There is an incidental fee of about $80 to cover in-class materials and handouts. The fee does not include textbooks or related supplies
