About Us:

The student success department offers a variety of services to our students. We strive to provide our students with the support needed to help in their journey towards becoming a successful student and as well as a member of the larger community.

The CIITE Advising Pilot Project for Internationally-Trained Immigrants (ITIs)

Centennial College is one of four lead colleges in the provincial government's Colleges Integrating Immigrants to Employment (CIITE) pilot project on advising internationally-trained immigrants (ITIs).

George Brown College, St. Clair College, and Algonquin College are partner colleges.  Some government funding has been provided to each lead college to pilot various models of advising in an effort to provide an effective, flexible and sustainable service.

KPI (Key Performance Indicators) Student Satisfaction Surveys

The purpose of this survey is to measure how satisfied you are with the quality of your learning experience, support services and educational resources and will provide an indication of how well these needs are met by us.  The results of the survey will also provide information about areas of strength or concern so that the institution can develop strategies for improvement. Your feedback is vital to the improvement and function of the college.

New Student Orientation

If you have lots of questions about the opportunities and challenges of college, you're not alone! Orientation is an important step in the beginning of your journey as a college student. We've planned events and activities that will answer your questions, introduce you to Centennial's many student services, and give you the opportunity to meet fellow classmates, staff, and faculty. Join us and familiarize yourself with the campus, obtain student photo ID and parking pass, find lockers, purchase books and take a campus tour before classes start. E-mail us at orientation@centennialcollege.ca .

PASS (Placement Advice for Student Success)

Centennial College is committed to student success. In order to help applicants become successful college students, they provide program placement advice and assistance to applicants who are denied admission to college programs.

If you apply to a college program but are unable to obtain an offer of admission, you may discuss your situation with the PASS staff and they will help you understand the reasons you were not offered admission to the program of your choice. Someone will also assist you in planning to meet all your educational objectives.

The staff from the PASS service may contact you, or you may contact them by e-mail at pass@centennialcollege.ca or calling 416-289-5000, ext. 2597 to arrange an appointment.
