Aboriginal Artifacts

Centennial College, as part of its overall commitment to students, wants to connect with Aboriginal communities to help enrich the Aboriginal student experience. We believe that by working together we can make a difference in the lives of Aboriginal students so that they can, in turn, make a difference in their communities.

Our aim is at increasing the number of Aboriginal learners accessing and participating in post-secondary education and training by developing specialized programs, offering apprenticeships and placements within desired fields in Aboriginal communities and providing help with job searches and strengthening community partnerships.

As one of the most diverse colleges in Ontario, Centennial College has proved to be adept at reaching out to and meeting the needs of the population it services.

Goal

Our goal is to provide a vision of Aboriginal education that goes beyond threshold access. This is related to Centennial College's mission to educate students for career success.
