Centennial College Student Strike Relief Fund Submission Form
Centennial College recognizes unexpected expenses that students will have incurred due to the extended fall 2017 academic semester (December 18-22, January 2-12), and has developed a Student Strike Relief fund to assist in supporting/reimbursing students for those unexpected expenses. The fund is consistent with the framework developed by the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development in consultation with student leaders and colleges.
We know our students are not to blame for the strike and we want to assure you that it is our intention to assist with the additional costs you will have incurred due to the extended fall 2017 academic semester (December 18-22, January 2-12).
Eligible expenses for the fund are incremental expenses incurred due to the extended fall 2017 academic semester (December 18-22, January 2-12), to a maximum overall total of $500.
The financial assistance that students receive from this fund will not impact OSAP or Second Career funding or eligibility.
Students in our Academic and Career Entrance (ACE) and Career and College Transition (CCT) program are eligible to apply for the Student Strike Relief Fund reimbursement.
This Student Strike Relief Fund is for full-time students only. Full-time students from all four campuses as well as the Pickering Learning Site, Eglinton Learning Site and our Midland site are eligible.
Students withdrawing from fall 2017 semester are not eligible for the Centennial College Student Strike Relief Fund.
Please see the Centennial College Student Strike Relief Fund Submission Guidelines prior to submitting the form.
