If you’re a Guidance Counsellor in a secondary or elementary school, an Advisor or Career Counsellor with a community agency, you’ve come to the right place. The Liaison and Student Recruitment team welcome you to Centennial College! To facilitate informed decision making, we want to ensure that prospective students and their Guidance Counsellors, Advisors or Career Counsellors have easy access to information about the value and benefits of the Centennial experience. This website is where you will find extensive information about our services and how to contact us for a visit.

Visits to High Schools & Agencies

We can arrange to visit your school or agency to speak to your students, clients and/or staff.

Below are some of the more popular presentations, workshops and events:

Centennial College Presentation
General information about Centennial College - our academic schools and programs, campuses and facilities, student engagement and services, the cost of post-secondary education and how to fund it and the application process.

Grade 10 Career Studies Classes
This interactive workshop encourages students in the grade 10 Career Studies Class to consider college as a post-secondary option. Students explore the benefits of a college education and the differences and links between high school, college, apprenticeships and university. It also covers admission requirements, career areas, student support services, financial aspects and more!

Panel & Fair or Fair Only
Each college Recruitment Representative speaks on a panel for approximately five minutes about their programs and campuses. Panels usually conclude with a fair, so that students can speak with us individually and ask specific questions. Fair style only is also an option and works great when many colleges and universities are present.

Parents Evenings
Let us assist in getting information about college as a post-secondary option to parents and students in grades 10 through 12. Our parents/guardians events generally occur in the evening in a fair style format with other post-secondary institutions. Parents/guardians are given the opportunity, along with their son or daughter, to ask questions one-on-one and find out more about what each school has to offer.

Degree Panel
For those in the east end of Toronto, we are happy to arrange a Degree Panel to address grade 11 and/or 12 students with information about degrees at college. This is a collaborative event with the six central region colleges offering degrees; Centennial, George Brown, Georgian, Humber, Seneca and Sheridan. Degree Panels are usually offered during the Spring, however, we can accommodate a different time at your request.
