Centennial College is committed to student success. We provide program placement advice and assistance to applicants who do not meet program admission requirements by the first day of classes. If you apply to a College program but are unable to obtain an offer of admission, you may discuss your situation with staff from the PASS Office. We will help you to understand the reasons you were not offered admission to the program of your choice, and assist you in planning to meet your educational objectives. The staff from the PASS Office may contact you, or you may contact us by calling 416-289-5000, ext. 2598 or e-mail pass@centennialcollege.ca to arrange an appointment with a PASS advisor. For many of our post-secondary programs you may receive an alternate offer. An alternate offer is provided if the grades and/or transcripts we have received do not meet the academic admission requirements for your original program choice(s), or your original program choice is full or waitlisted. In most instances the alternate program offered is closely related to the original choice, or will allow you to upgrade your skills to meet the admission requirements for your program choice. You may subsequently receive an offer of admission to your program choice if Centennial receives the transcripts or documents that show you meet the academic requirements, provided there are seats available in your original program choice. Many programs at Centennial also allow you to complete a Skills Assessment in English and/or mathematics to fulfill the academic subject requirements. If you receive an offer of admission to an original program choice after you have confirmed acceptance to an alternate offer, you can simply accept the new offer of admission by the "Deadline to Confirm" date. Centennial will provide instructions on "How to Confirm" with every offer of admission made. |
