Centennial College wants all international students to feel welcome and comfortable in their new home away from home. There are many options available to students, including Centennial Residence, staying with a host family through the Homestay program, or living off campus with other students or on your own. Many places, like the Residence and Homestay, ask for money in advance such as a deposit.
Please take the time to read your housing contract carefully to ensure you are meeting the contract requirements in a timely manner. You should have your accommodation arranged prior to arrival, which means all required fees are paid and you have received confirmation.
The Centennial College Residence is more than just a place to sleep. It’s an opportunity to develop lifelong friendships and memories. It also allows you to get fully involved in college activities and to mature in a rich academic and social community. We strongly recommend that international students stay in our Residence during the first year of study to help jump-start their Canadian living/learning experience. Rooms in Residence fill up quickly, so apply as soon as possible. Be sure you apply one to two months prior to your arrival.
For more information on Residence rates, policies, photos and to apply, please go to www.centennial-place.ca.
For individual questions and inquiries about Residence, please email email@example.com or call 416-438-2216 Ext. 6294.
Coming to a new country can be exciting, but also intimidating. The Homestay program partners you with a family, which will help you to adjust to your new city by offering advice and information on getting around. You may choose to stay with the family for the duration of your study period, or short term. While in Homestay, you will also have the advantage of being in an environment in which English is the primary language. It will be as though you are taking an extra language class every day!
