Automotive Pre-apprenticeship Programs

About Centennial
Established as Toronto's first public college in 1966, Centennial College offers programs in business, communications, community and health studies, science and engineering technology, general arts, hospitality and transportation.

The School of Advancement and the School of Transportation jointly offer pre-apprenticeship programs in Automotive Service Technician and Automotive Truck and Coach Technician. These programs are sponsored and paid for by the Government of Ontario.

Students complete 36 weeks of academic upgrading, technical training in Level 1 for the trades of Automotive Service Technician and Truck and Coach Technician and 12 weeks in a paid work placement in a service station or with a manufacturer. Our graduates are well prepared to transition to a full apprenticeship. Over 40 students graduate from our program each year.
