About Centennial


Established as Toronto's first public college in 1966, Centennial College offers programs in business, communications, community and health studies, science and engineering technology, general arts, hospitality and transportation.

The most recent addition to our department’s course offerings, and the new college mandated GNED, this course provides students the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills required to work and live in a diverse world. The course will help students:

Take a foundational, unique, and critical look at the roots and impact of inequality and discrimination related to issues of social justice.
Explore personal and social responsibility in their personal lives, in their communities, and in the global and local work environments.
Develop communication, social action, and conflict resolution skills.

The course is part of the Signature Learning Experience initiative at Centennial College
