New to Canada? Looking to improve your communication skills for Project Management?

Centennial College's School of Advancement is offering newcomers a chance to enhance their career skills with the introduction of the Occupation-Specific Language Training course for Project Management.

This part-time course is free of charge and is held two evenings a week from mid-September, 2012 to mid-March, 2013.

The OSLT for Project Management course focuses on:

  • Improving listening and speaking skills for project management;
  • Learning about typical interactions for project managers in the workplace and practicing similar interactions in the classroom;
  • Career building skills that include interviewing, targeted resumes and networking;
  • Information and related resources for further research.

Do you Qualify?

This course is for you if:

  • You have related training or experience in Project Management
  • Your English is at an intermediate level Canadian Language Benchmarks (6 to 8)
  • You are a permanent resident or protected person.
