Congratulations to Professor Dr. Joseph B. Glass who earned a $15,000 International Book Award along with his colleague, Prof. Ruth Kark. Dr. Glass is the co-writer of Sephardi Entrepreneurs in Jerusalem: The Valero Family 1800-1948, which chronicled the life of a Jerusalem family who were the first to establish private banks in Israel. Dr. Glass is a professor at Centennial College and teaches courses in Canadian Studies, and Geography and Tourism. |
