Canadian Educated

If you have completed high school and/or post-secondary education in Canada then you may use those credits to seek admission in a program at Centennial College. Even if you do not have Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, you may still apply as a mature student (link to Mature Student tab/webpage). Admission requirements vary for each program. After talking to you, our Advisors will be able to guide you through the process of applying and becoming a Centennial College student.

We invite you to have a one-on-one meeting with one of our Advisors who will be able to provide relevant information about the programs, enrolment procedures, admission requirements, credential assessment and various student services available at Centennial College.

General information on the application process is also available at http://www.centennialcollege.ca/howtoapply, Information for Parents and Information for Guidance Counsellors.

We invite you to have a one-on-one meeting with one of our Advisors who will be able to provide relevant information about the programs, enrolment procedures, admission requirements, credential assessment and various student services available at Centennial College. Our Advisors have a wealth of knowledge about educational pathways and resources for labour market information to share with you. They will also be able to give information on external referrals, if needed.

Mature Student

Centennial College welcomes applications from adults who have made the decision to return to school. A mature student is one who:

  • is 19 years of age or older (21 years of age for BScN by Dec 31st of the year in which you wish to commence your studies) and
  • is without an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent

Things to remember:

  • depending on your program choice, academic requirements may be met by completing the assessment test in Language Skills and/or Mathematics for admission purpose.
  • Mature student applications must meet all academic and non-academic admission requirements of the program, as listed in the program's "Admission Requirements". Please refer to the detailed information about the specific program.

It is important to apply as soon as possible if you are applying as a mature applicant. By applying early, if it is determined that you do not have the necessary skills for admission to a post-secondary program, you may need to complete the necessary upgrading before the start of your program. General information about application process is also available at http://www.centennialcollege.ca/howtoapply.

Centennial College also has various upgrading program such as English for Academic Purposes (EAP), General Arts & Science (GAS) but you are encouraged to make an appointment with an Advisor to identify the best option for you. More information about upgrading programs at Centennial College is available at http://www.centennialcollege.ca/advancement.
