About Centennial
Established as Toronto's first public college in 1966, Centennial College offers programs in business, communications, community and health studies, science and engineering technology, general arts, hospitality and transportation.

The Applied Research & Innovation Centre (ARIC) broadcasts a call, twice each year in the Spring and Fall, for applied research and innovation proposals to the College community.

Fellowships are a good fit if:

  • You are thinking about an applied research project that addresses one of Centennial’s strategic goals
  • You want to enhance the student experience
  • You have an interest in research that may solve a specific problem for industry or a community organization
  • ARIC Fellowships provide funding for projects up to one year in length, with the bulk of the funding allocated to faculty and staff release time as well as supporting the payment of student stipends. All proposals are reviewed by the ARIC Steering Committee. New researchers may apply for funding up to a maximum of $10,000 per project.

For information, instructions and the application form, please contact Stacey Shipwright (sshipwright@centennialcollege.ca ext. 8397) at the Applied Research and Innovation Centre.
