Student Research Showcase

Attention all students!

The Student Research Showcase is an opportunity for you to show off your research skills and accomplishments at the Applied Research and Innovation Symposium on May 31, 2010. We are looking for dynamic posters that demonstrate the exciting projects and ideas being generated by Centennial College students across all schools. If you have worked on a research project in either Winter or Spring semester this school year (09/10), please let us know so we can get you in the showcase!

Poster Competition – Win the respect of your peers and a $100.00 cash prize, courtesy of the Centennial College Student Association Inc. (CCSAI)

In addition to the showcase, we are offering cash prizes for the best poster in each of four categories:

Innovation

Do you have a research idea that will make our college/community/country/world a better place?  You do not need to have conducted the research itself, but instead must present an original idea for a research project that would benefit our community.

Industry Linked Research

Have you conducted research with an industry partner or external sponsorship? Present your project’s findings and include a description of the benefits to the partner or sponsor.

Experimental Research

Have you conducted some experimental, course-based research at Centennial College? Present your results and showcase what you’ve done.

Reports and Analysis Research

Have you conducted research at Centennial College that involved reports and analytical non-experimental research (i.e. literature reviews, comparative analyses, etc.) Show your conclusions to your colleagues.
