About Centennial

Centennial College's Culture & Heritage Institute presents the Culture & Cuisine Cavalcade, a workshop dedicated to exploring the many facets of cuisine, and how it influences and is influenced by culture. Apart from sustenance, cuisine is viewed as a crucial element indefining communities, by providing the opportunity for cultural expression. Contemporary diets have also become vehicles for wellness and healthy lifestyles, while reflecting the culture and heritage of communities. By addressing various aspects of multiculturalism, cuisine and lifestyle, this workshop attempts to further investigate their effects on modern living.
