Guo Li (Garry) Zhang is the the owner of Bee King Canada. Garry worked in a bee products trading company in China for 6 years after graduating from a business college in 2000. He has extensive knowledge of bee products and trading in produts such as bees' wax and propolis. Garry immigrated to Canada in 2006 and worked in a factory as labourer for one year. During this period of time , he could not find any job in his field of bee products trading.

In 2007 Garry learned about the OSEB program from Employment Ontario and applied successfully, bringing his experience, qualifications and the resources to start a bee product trading business to this venture.

Garry proved to be a dedicated student of the OSEB program and gained the knowledge of starting a business in Canada from the training. Garry registered Bee King Canada in the middle of 2007. Right away, he reestablised contact with his previous employers in China who traded in bee products. He signed on a distributor agreement with the company to import and distribute bee products in Canada and USA. Bee King quickly gained recognition in the market place as a reliable supplier of bee products. In less than a year Bee King has had several committed customers. Recently Bee King appointed a distributor in the US to market and distribute bee products.

Garry says, "It was most fortunate that I was selected for the OSEB program. Without the program's support, Bee King Canada could not have existed today. My business is growing and I have to thank the trainers for providing a strong foundation and my advisor for helping and guiding me these last few months and being there whenever I need him.
