Centennial College has a long history for Women's Basketball dating back to the very beginning of the formation of the OCAA having won Gold in 1967-68 and two Silvers in 1972-73 & 1986-87. The women's program was releanched in 2008 and  has been improving every year. Coach Justin Bobb takes over the reigns of the Colts for the 2015-2016 season.

The Colts enter the 2015-16 campaign with the goal of re-building and a spirit of development. The key building blocks of the women's basketball program under newly appointed head coach Bobb will be a strong commitment to passion on the court as well as a continued academic achievement in the classroom. 

With team leaders and standout performers havign graduated the focus will shift to player development of returning players and incoming recruits.

The Centennial Colts women's basketball team competes in the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association's (OCAA) East Region against schools from across Ontario, from the GTA to Ottawa. 

The season runs from early October through to mid-February. 

Academic / Athletic Awards are available through a selection process to those student athletes that have demonstrated excellence on and off the field of play. Application forms are available in the Athletics and Recreation Office. (Progress Campus - Athletic and Wellness Center Room AWC 104).

New players are always welcome, but to be eligible to compete at the varsity level, players must be full-time Centennial College students and maintain solid academic standing throughout the year.
