If you've always thought about being your own boss, have the skills and ambition but need some support, then the Ontario Self-Employment Benefit Program (OSEB) could be for you.

The Ontario Self-Employment Benefit program provides qualified applicants with business skills development, business start-up counselling and income support to help them make their new business a success.

If you are currently eligible for or collecting Employment Insurance (EI) benefits or have collected benefits within the last 36 months (regular benefits) or 60 months (parental benefits) and have an idea for a business, you may qualify for this exciting program.
