As part of Centennial's ambitious Ashtonbee renovation project, the campus gym will be closed until September 2013 so that the facility can be retrofitted with significant upgrades, including a bright, new fitness studio and an expanded exercise room with state-of-the-art equipment. To continue offering the best level of service and programming possible, the Athletics and Recreation department has arranged alternative gym memberships. All eligible Ashtonbee students are encouraged to access and participate in this membership program during the construction period. Centennial has partnered with the Warden Hilltop Community Centre, located 1.5 km south of the campus, to provide temporary replacement recreational facilities for Ashtonbee Campus students. A three-month weightroom membership costs $38.50, a sum that will be reimbursed to students who submit the receipt with their photo ID. Students will also have access to the Morningside and Progress Campus facilities and instructional classes at no additional cost. We apologize for any inconvenience these renovations may cause. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we begin our exciting transformation of Ashtonbee Campus. |
