	Read and Research
	Pay attention to posters, bulletin boards, email notices, correspondence and in-house / on-line opportunities. This is an ongoing obligation extending until you graduate.

	Ask Questions
	If you are unsure about anything, ask questions from our Financial Aid Officers

	Create a Detailed Budget Early
	This will help later when you put into practice after OSAP and resources have been assessed.

	Apply Early Online
	You can also hand deliver all financial resource applications, including OSAP, scholarship and/or bursary applications. Be sure to carefully follow instructions.

	Put Budget into Action
	When OSAP and other resources have been assessed, prepare a realistic budget and put into practice throughout the year.

	Advise Financial Aid Officers
	If your information and / or status has changed, let our officers know.

	Role and Responsibility
	Understand your role as a student and your responsibility towards your financial well-being.
