Established as Toronto's first public college in 1966, Centennial College offers programs in business, communications, community and health studies, science and engineering technology, general arts, hospitality and transportation.

According to Centennial KPI findings 44% of Students attending Centennial are First Generation.

Who We Are:
The First Generation Project supports Centennial students in their efforts to reach academic goals; and encourages youth to access post-secondary education in collaboration with community partners.

We provide inclusive programming, positive relationships, outreach and information that are fundamental to students achieving success on campus and in the community.

The First Generation Project is a part of Student Life Enhancement Division at Centennial College. We are funded by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.

Who is a First Generation Student?
If your parent(s) did not complete college, university, or an apprentice program in Canada you are a First Generation Student. This definition was developed from guidelines provided by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.
