We are delighted to announce that the Office of Development and Alumni Engagement, raised an astonishing $162,000 at the Centennial College 9th Annual Golf Tournament held at the beautiful Copper Creek Golf Club on July 11!

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors we raised an unprecedented $100,000 for the College’s endowment program, which will be matched dollar for dollar through the Ontario Trust for Student Support program. This will allow us to distribute $200,000 worth of Scholarships and Bursaries to our students!

The 2011 tournament broke many records, including:

• 42% increase in sponsorship support (17 sponsors compared with 12 in 2010)
• 19% increase in gross revenue ($162,000 vs $135,490 in 2010)
• 40% increase in net revenue ($100,000 vs $71,584 in 2010)

We would like to send a special thank you to all the volunteers and Centennial staff. Their dedication and support was essential to the success of the tournament!

Please mark your calendars now for next year's golf tournament to be held on Monday, July 9, 2012 at Copper Creek Golf Club. The Office of Development and Alumni Engagement has set the bar even higher for next year and we are confident that, with the help of our Centennial family, we will exceed expectations in 2012!
