Health Cards for International Students Have Arrived

Please read the information carefully to find out if you need to pick up your health card.

You will need to show your student card in order to obtain your Health Card.

  • If you are a new student, you will need to pick up a new health card.
  • If you are a student who has been with us for more than one term and your health card expired on December 31, 2011, you will need to pick up a new health card.
  • If you are a student who has been with us for more than one term and your card has not expired, you will not need a new card.

Please pick up your Health Card at your home campus from the International Office from 10:00 am to 4:00pm.

For students attending CCC, please pick up your Health Card in Room 101 or, if no one available, from the register office front desk.


Health Insurance for Full Time International Students

All full-time registered international students at Centennial College are automatically covered by a comprehensive health insurance plan offered through Student Guard Health Insurance. It provides coverage for necessary hospital and medical services. With your health insurance plan, you will be provided a full year of coverage, everywhere in the world, except your country of origin. If you have to visit a clinic due to illness, remember to bring an insurance claim form and your green health card.
