Step One: Get Online!
Step Two: Register for an e-pass An e-pass on MyCIC is your online profile with the Government of Canada. You will need an epass to access MyCIC.
Visit CIC Secure Online Services to register for an epass. You will need to create a user id and password. Remember to store your user id and password in a secure place where only you can retrieve it. You will also need your Client Identification Number which can be found on your study permit.
Step Three: Request for Eligibility Verification Number (EVN) You will now be able to log into your MyCIC account using your user id and password. Once you've logged in, you will be able to request for an EVN through the online "Request for Initial Eligibility Verification."
Step Four: Checking your messages The International Office at Centennial College will receive a message when you request for an EVN. We will then review your eligibility and either approve or disapprove your request. You will be notified via email once we complete this process, so be sure to look out for an email from MyCIC. Log on to your MyCIC account and check your messages. If you are approved, you will see that you now have a message with your EVN!
