About Centennial
Established as Toronto's first public college in 1966, Centennial College offers programs in business, communications, community and health studies, science and engineering technology, general arts, hospitality and transportation.
 

Camp Centennial is pleased to offer a distinct, three-week sleep-over summer camp for youths (ages 15 - 18) from abroad who want to come to Toronto, Canada in the summer of 2011. The camp combines educational English Language classes with Career Exploration and many exciting half-day and full-day activities in and around Toronto. Make Camp Centennial your choice for a unique urban Canadian camp experience.  Campers will stay at the College’s residence and will be provided with three (3) healthy meals per day. Summer Camp

Who is Summer Camp for?

Camp Centennial is for youths (ages 15 - 18) from abroad, who are looking to improve their level of conversational English, explore career options, as well as discover and experience Toronto, Canada. 

This camp is available for groups of 10 or more - who must be accompanied by a Chaperone.


Where does the summer camp take place?

Camp Centennial
has developed its high-quality English curriculum to comply with Canadian Language Benchmarks. Daily classes are conducted at Centennial College by experienced and qualified instructors at Toronto's highly-reputable and oldest college.

Centennial's three-week summer camp includes the following activities:

  • Minimum of 25 hours of English instruction per week
  • Career exploration opportunities
  • Planned cultural, sports, or sightseeing activities
  • Transportation and admission to activities
  • Small classes
  • Weekend excursions
  • Opportunity to meet new friends from other countries
  • Balanced combination of English language instruction and Canadian cultural experiences

  • Pick-up and drop-off at Pearson International Airport in Toronto

Where will I be staying? 

Camp Centennial students will stay at Centennial’s residence which features 190 double or single beds, a full ensuite bathroom, microwave, compact fridge, cable television, high speed Internet access and even a heated indoor pool. There will be two campers assigned to each room.

Camp students also receive three healthy daily meals, weekly housecleaning and have access to laundry facilities.

When is the summer camp offered?

We are offering three 3-week sessions for your convenience.

June 26 - July 16. 2011
July 17 - August 6, 2011
August 7 - August 27, 2011

What are the requirements to attend Camp Centennial?

You must be at least 15 years of age and have a valid passport and visa.

What is the fee for Camp Centennial?

  • CAD $3,400.  
    • Please note that health insurance while in the country is included in the camp fee.
    • Airfare and money for discretionary spending and long distance calls are not included.
  • Registration fee must be paid in full with submission of Application.
  • Deadline for Application is 30 days prior to session start date.
