International Transfer Education

The International Transfer Education program is open to students who meet the following conditions:
Completion of at least two years of study at the college or university level in an area related to their chosen program. A student who is missing some related courses may be accepted. However, the student will be required to complete an additional semester of studies in Canada to accommodate the missing courses.

  • High school graduates who have successfully completed at least two years of English as a Second Language from Centennial’s partner schools
  • Qualified for a Canadian study permit (visa)
  • Able to meet the program's required fees
  • Able to meet further prerequisites as specified by individual programs of study

Centennial international students wishing to enrol as international transfer students may do so in one of two ways:

  1. Students must be currently enrolled in one of Centennial's unique partnerships between Centennial College in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and selected colleges and universities. Students participating in these programs have the opportunity to complete one or two years of study at Centennial for a Centennial diploma, and then to either transfer to Centennial's partner university for higher education or gain one or two years' work experience in Canada through off-campus work while studying at Centennial.
  2. College or university students who complete their second year of study at their home country may apply to similar programs at Centennial.  These students may receive one semester of transfer credits, study three semesters at Centennial and receive a two-year Centennial diploma.  College and university graduates may receive more transfer credits.

Students interested in participating in the International Transfer Education program should contact internationaltransfer@centennialcollege.ca for information on the partner schools.
