To withdraw from the College and get a fee refund, you must:
Send your study permit denial letter (issued by the Canadian embassy or consulate) by mail, fax or e-mail within the first 20 school days of the semester. Upon the International Education Office's receipt of your visa denial letter, you will receive a refund of the tuition fees you paid, minus a $200 administrative charge.
If you choose to withdraw from the College for any reason other than a visa denial, if you hold a valid study permit OR you are unable to provide a letter from the Canadian embassy stating study permit denial *, the following withdrawal procedure applies:
Within the first 10 school days of the semester, you must submit a completed Centennial College withdrawal form, in order to receive a refund of the tuition fees you paid, minus an administrative charge**. If you withdraw via the Centennial College withdrawal from after the first 10 school days of the semester, subsequent semester fees paid will be reimbursed, minus an $1,115 administration fee.
If you are a student of Centennial College and wish to withdraw from the college, a refund will be considered if you provide the following:
a) Letter of acceptance if you are transferring to another institution. b) A plane ticket if you are going back home c) Other extraordinary circumstances (please speak to the international education office for more details)
*deposit is non-refundable **at least one semester must be paid & charges are $1,115
