Men's Basketball

After a strong season last year, the Centennial Colts Men’s Basketball team will be taking to the floor during the 2011-12 season looking to return to the top of the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association. With a new home set to open the level of enthusiasm about the team is high. The season will include 20 regular season games as well as exhibition games and tournaments.

The season will be highlighted by returning back to the Centennial College Progress Campus and playing in the brand new Athletic and Wellness Centre.

The squad is always on the look-out for basketball talent. To be eligible to play, players must be full-time Centennial College students and maintain solid academic standing throughout the year.

Academic / Athletic Awards are available through a selection process to those student athletes that have demonstrated excellence on and off the field of play. Application forms are available in the Athletics and Recreation Department. (Progress Campus – Student Centre RM 2A /2B)

Varsity Colts receive an official Centennial track suit and sport bag upon selection to the team. Transportation, accommodation and a meal subsidy are provided when the team is on the road.
