Badminton

Varsity Badminton has had a long and successful history at Centennial College, including nine Ontario Gold Medals and several national medals. Members of the Centennial Colts Badminton team will have the opportunity to play in invitational tournaments across Ontario and the opportunity to play in the Ontario College and Canadian Colleges Athletic Association Championships.

The Badminton team is open to both males and females, as tournament competition includes men’s and women’s singles, men’s and women’s doubles and mixed doubles. Centennial College will be hosting an Invitational Tournament in mid-January at the new Athletics and Wellness Centre at the Progress Campus.

Colts Badminton is guided by two veteran coaches. Head coach Stephen Wong is entering his 11th season coaching the Colts, while assistant coach Rick Leung has been will be going into his 7th season.
