If I applied for a Transfer Credit for recognition of a previous post-secondary credit I earned at another institution, do I still need to write the Skills Assessment for Placement?
Yes. Unless you have received written confirmation that your transfer credit has been awarded, book your Skills Assessments for Placement to avoid any delays in starting your classes. |
How do I book my Skills Assessment?
In order to book your Skills Assessment, you will need your Centennial College Student ID and program number. You can find your Student ID and program number on your Fees Statement. You will also be asked to provide a valid e-mail address. We will send you an e-mail message with written confirmation of your Skills Assessment appointment, what you need to bring and, if necessary, notify you of any changes to your appointment. |

What if I live out of town?
If you reside 150 kilometres or more outside the Greater Toronto Area, arrangements can be made to write your Skills Assessment in your hometown. Please note this request must be submitted in writing and approved well in advance of the start of the semester to ensure sufficient processing time. |
