Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup, Sept. 24

About Centennial
Established as Toronto's first public college in 1966, Centennial College offers programs in business, communications, community and health studies, science and engineering technology, general arts, hospitality and transportation.

Join the CCSAI, Centennial College and the Environmental Student Society in the cleanup and rehabilitation of Highland Creek in Morningside Park this Saturday, Sept. 24. The event is part of the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup, a national strategy to keep Canada's rivers and lakes clean.

We're looking for volunteers to come out for a couple of hours of fresh air and light work in the great outdoors. We need help picking up, recycling and auditing litter in the park. In return, there's a free barbecue lunch and valuable door prizes. The event begins at 9:30 am and will wrap up at 3:30 pm. Come for an hour or come for the day - any time you can spare would be appreciated!

Morningside Park is located just south of our Science and Technology Campus, turn west off Morningside at the bridge. Follow the driveway to the furthest parking lot. Parking is free. In case of rain, please wear appropriate clothing, sturdy shoes or rubber boots. Gloves will be provided.

Everyone is welcome! Invite your family, friends and neighbours. It's a great way to spend the first weekend of autumn.
