Lane Restrictions at Progress Campus

For one week starting Thursday Sept. 29, traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction on the main driveway serving Progress Campus from the traffic lights to the new Library building. The lane restrictions will allow for landscape work on the centre island, including the pouring of concrete walkways and tree planting. The lane closure will remain in place until end of day, Oct. 6

As a result of these lane restrictions we are expecting traffic congestion and unwelcome delays, especially at peak travel times in the morning and afternoon. We are asking drivers not to pick up or drop off passengers along the driveway, and instead use Lot 3 South as the pick-up/drop-off area. TTC and GO buses will continue to use their regular stops on campus.

As always, drivers must obey all posted signs and take direction from any flagpersons who may be working with the construction crews. Pedestrians are asked to pay attention to their surroundings when walking near construction zones. A map of the Progress Campus shows the area affected by the road work.

We appreciate the college community's cooperation in keeping traffic moving on this busy campus route.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
