Help give Centennial a 20-Minute Makeover on April 24

Centennial students and employees are encouraged to participate in the City of Toronto's 20-Minute Makeover event this Friday, April 24. The sixth annual 20-Minute Makeover event celebrates Earth Week and kicks off Toronto's annual spring clean-up. The Makeover is well timed to coincide with the spring thaw, when the melted snowbanks reveal ugly garbage and debris. People across Toronto and other participating GTA communities are asked to go outside for 20 minutes on Friday at 2 pm and pick up litter around businesses and in parks, schoolyards and other public areas. Last year, more than 135,000 Torontonians voluntarily worked together to help make the city clean and beautiful. Centennial College will once again be participating in this city-wide effort. Facilities & Services will be providing free gloves and garbage bags to participants at each campus location. Campus Locations: Ashtonbee Campus - Bag/Glove Pick-Up: Beside the Security Office
