Centennial College Marketing students distinguished themselves by finishing second, fourth and fourth in three tough rounds that were part of the Ontario Colleges Marketing Competition, hosted this year by Hamilton's Mohawk College on Nov. 19 and 20. The annual event, which tests the skills and knowledge of marketing students from 13 colleges across Ontario, consists of marketing exercises and case studies judged by a panel of industry experts. The Centennial team was sponsored by the School of Business, the Centennial College Student Association Inc. and the Alumni Association. School of Business student Arlin Kapadia earned a fourth-place finish in the Quiz Bowl; Laura Martin won a fourth-place finish in the Sales Presentation event; and Saadman Halder and Marc de Breyne placed second in the International Marketing event.
