The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure is Canada's largest single-day, volunteer-led fundraising event dedicated to supporting breast cancer research, education and awareness programs. Everyone knows someone who has been touched by this dreaded disease. For the first time, Centennial College is officially fielding and supporting a college team at the CIBC Run for the Cure, taking place this year on Sunday, October 3. The route is 5 kilometres long and winds around the downtown campus of the University of Toronto. Both runners and walkers are welcome (runners leave the starting line at 10 am; walkers commence at 10:10 am). Even if you can't join the team, you're invited to pledge your support with a monetary donation. President Ann Buller has made a generous pledge, as have other members of the Executive Team. Please see the links below for registration and further information, or contact Emma Dunk at edunk@centennialcollege.ca or call her at ext. 8888. Thank you very much for your interest and support.
