Centennial's Environmental Student Society will be hosting its 11th Annual Spring Clean-up and Rehabilitation Day this Saturday, May 2 in Morningside Park - and you're invited to pitch in! Volunteers are needed to help tidy up Morningside Park (just south of the Morningside Campus) by picking up and recycling litter, as well as planting trees and shrubs donated by the City of Toronto. In return for your help, you get a fun-filled day of planting, socializing, a great prize draw and a free barbecue lunch. The weather looks promising - sunny and warm - but the work will continue rain or shine. To get to the park take the first driveway off of Morningside south of Ellesmere Road and follow the park road to the third (and last) parking lot. The registration table will be set up nearby starting at 9:30 am. Lunch will be served at 12:30 pm and everyone will be packing up by 3 pm. Even if you only have one hour to spare, it would be time well spent. Bring some folding chairs, along with your family and friends, and join in the good, clean fun!
