About Centennial


Established as Toronto's first public college in 1966, Centennial College offers programs in business, communications, community and health studies, science and engineering technology, general arts, hospitality and transportation.

Teach English as a Second Language (TESL) within six months!

Is your next career helping people build their English language skills? Is your goal to acquire the ability to teach English as a Second Language? Would you like job search support at the completion of your program? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then the TESL program may be for you

TESL intensive delivery format offers you a way to become proficient and be able to teach English as a Second Language within 6 months. There are 12 courses in this program.

The TESL program will be held weekends (Friday 6-10 pm, Saturday and Sunday 9-6 pm) at Centennial College Progress Campus, followed by observation and practicum. A job preparation workshop is also included in the program.
