Are you looking for a dynamic career where you can really make a difference? With our aging population, there is an increasing demand for qualified administrators (long term care) and general managers (retirement homes). These managers are accountable for the effective administration and management of facility operations, demonstrating exemplary team building and leadership skills within a multidisciplinary environment.

Our new Retirement Communities Management program is offered in partnership with the Ontario Retirement Communities Association (ORCA). ORCA is a voluntary, non-profit association that sets professional operating standards, and inspects and accredits retirement residences in Ontario. Our Long Term Care Management program, the first of its kind offered by a community college, is ideal for candidates with an academic background and/or managerial experience in a related health or business discipline.

These programs are comprised of competency-based curricula which will prepare you for a challenging, dynamic career in a recognized sector that predicts a labour shortage over the next 10 years.
