Got questions? We have the answers!

What is Peer Tutoring?
Peer tutoring enables students who may be experiencing difficulties in specific courses seek aid from Centennial College students who are in high academic standing and have been recommended by their respective departments. Peer tutoring programs are available on a one-on-one level or in small groups. Tutors will work with you in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Who is eligible?
Currently enrolled, full-time and part-time Centennial College students have access to all the services we provide, free of charge. We believe that all students can benefit from tutoring services. Our programs are meant both to challenge high achieving students and to support those having academic difficulties. Additional support for students with learning disabilities is also available.

Where can I receive tutoring on-campus?
You can receive tutoring by visiting your campus Library's Learning Centre. Tutoring is offered in Accounting, English, Math, Science and Study Skills, just to name a few. An appointment must be scheduled in advance in efforts to meet with your tutor and you may book a maximum of one hour of appointments per day. You are not guaranteed the same tutor each week.

Please remember to bring your Centennial College identification before tutoring sessions.

If you cannot attend an appointment, please cancel it 12 hours in advance

How do I become a tutor?
Students interested in becoming tutors must be currently enrolled at Centennial College with a minimum B+ grade in the courses they wish to tutor.
