Syrian Refugee Pathways Program (SRPP)
Centennial College recognizes the barriers to post-secondary education for recently arrived refugees settling in the GTA, including lack of documentation, language, and financial barriers, and the need for specific support services. To aid in the transition of the resettlement process, Centennial College offers recent refugees an opportunity to access post-secondary education through the English for Academic Purpose (EAP) program. The EAP program is an intensive, full-time program that will help you to build upon and improve your language skills for success in college or university and increase your skills for employment.
The SRPP is ideal for students who:
- Are newcomers to Canada and have completed high school or post-secondary education in their home countries but do not meet the English language requirements for direct entry into college/university
- Have recently completed high school in Canada but require greater English language development opportunities before pursuing higher education
Please contact us to discuss your unique situation so that we can offer you the best pathway to your education.
