Students will learn how to “be the audience”, to stay fresh and open-minded about the material no matter how many cuts they have seen or done. Students will acquire a thorough understanding of how camera lenses and music choices can influence an audience’s emotional reaction to what they are seeing on the screen. Finally, students will learn what producers and directors expect of an editor and how to develop strategies for a successful editing career.
