This course provides an introduction to quantitative analysis tools most commonly deployed in business operations and decision sciences to assist project managers optimize strategic planning and decision making processes. It focuses on mathematical modeling techniques, using the relevant automated computer programs, for processing data to help in decision making and selecting the optimal alternative course of action. The learning outcomes of this course are applicable to operations management in general and particularly to the planning and control of projects’ activities and resources. The course also addresses quantitative analysis tools applicable to the service sector.
