Health Studies Lab Facilities
The Health Studies programs are located in Centennial’s new Morningside Campus. An impressive building in its own right with a feeling of space, openness and expansive views of the Rouge Valley Conservation Area to the south, this new campus offers superior lab facilities for all of our programs. Situated on the second floor, our lab facilities provide students in the Nursing, Paramedic, OTA and PTA, Pharmacy Technician, Massage Therapy, Esthetician, programs with unrivalled opportunity to develop practical skills in environments that duplicate those they will find themselves working in after graduation.
These extensive facilities have demonstrated their value not only to our students but also to emergency-response organizations and hospitals from across the Greater Toronto Area, serving as the ideal environment for staging large-scale disaster simulation exercises.
Our Nursing lab recreates an actual hospital floor, complete with nursing station and operating room facilities. Students are afforded a highly realistic environment within which to develop and perfect a wide range of nursing skills. In addition to a well-equipped environment, we are now able to offer to our students the advantage of clinical simulation equipment, including Telehealth and highly realistic, computerized “patients.”
