How to Apply

Follow the steps below to apply to Centennial College as a Second Career applicant.

1. Check if you're eligible for Second Career

To check eligibility for Second Career, please call Employment Ontario at 1-800-387-5656. For more information, please visit Ontario Second Career.

2. Meet with an Employment Counsellor at an Employment Ontario Assessment Centre

With your Employment Counsellor, you will discuss which program is most suitable for you to take.

3. Research the College

Review Centennial College's Full-time Programs and Part-time Programs. Approval for these programs for Second Career is at the discretion of the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU) and subject to a case-by-case basis.

4. Contact Us

If you're interested in one of our programs, we can provide you with a Research Package (and an Offer Letter, if required). Offer letter requires an application to the college. This letter can take between 7-10 business days for processing. All applicants with confirmed Offers will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit to hold their seat in the program.

5. Submit the Research package to your Employment Counsellor

After receiving your Research Package and Offer Letter from Centennial College, your Employment Counsellor will submit all documentation to the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities for consideration and review. If approved, you can start your program.

Please bring in a copy of your contract for our files, as proof of funding.
