Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (Co-op Apprenticeship) 8205

"During my co-op, I found a well-paying heavy equipment position at a very reputable company, at which I am still working presently. Starting in the summer of 2006, my experience and education enabled me to volunteer at the Oshawa Military Museum as a tank mechanic. During my time at the museum, I maintained a fleet of six tracked armoured fighting vehicles and other larger vintage tanks. This work led me to military parades and even movies and television shows, including the recent debut of one of my TV shows called I Could Do That. I am the tank instructor on the show. What better way to promote the program than a new television show with one of your grads portraying a teacher...
If I could say one thing about my time at Centennial it would be: College studies unlock the doors that you want to open, all you have to do is open it and walk through. Centennial gave me that option and I took it."
